Rates & Scheduling

We charge $75 per hour for regular editing. For rush work and content creation, we charge $90 per hour. Night & weekend rush rates ($95 per hour and up) will apply to work that needs a very fast turnaround, requiring night or weekend work. We bill for a minimum of one hour per job and a minimum of 1/2 hour per task.

For example, if we've edited a grant proposal for you and you need assistance lining up a table on the day of submission, you'll be charged for 1/2 hour, even if it only takes us fifteen minutes. However, since we've already edited the proposal, the one-hour minimum per job will have already been met.

We highly recommend that you schedule time in advance. If you need to shift a date after you've scheduled, we'll do our best to work with you, but it's always best to get on our calendars early—especially if you need editing before an NIH grant deadline. Having said that, though, if you have something that you must have done within a few days, drop us a line and we'll see what we can do!

We return most scheduled documents within 1 week. It may take longer for documents that were not scheduled in advance or for lengthy documents. Be sure to talk with us about our deadlines, and we'll do our best to work with you.

We'll work with university payment systems as needed.
